Conor Lipchus joins the University of Maine at Augusta as General Manager and Director of Conference Services, returning to the University of Maine System after previously coordinating catering operations based out of the University of Southern Maine. He brings extensive experience in hospitality, event operations, and client partnership within higher education. Most recently, Conor served as Senior Director of Catering at Colby College, supporting events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale campus programs and conferences.
Known for his collaborative and high-energy approach, Conor is passionate about partnering with clients to understand their goals and bring their vision to life. This client-first mindset shapes how he leads teams, plans events, and delivers service that feels both thoughtful and seamless. He looks forward to working closely with campus partners and clients to support successful conferences and events at UMA.
